Well, not 'completely' different.  Just a change of pace now that I have a work bench.  My works in progress are photographed and will be proudly displayed once my iMac communicates with Nikkon...

A change of scale, and a change of materials.  25-32mm miniatures made out of "green stuff" epoxy until I can get a better material once again (think Aves Apoxie Sculpt or Magic Sculpt if they still exist, got to love the 5 lbs buckets of that stuff...).  Right now I've got six dollies built up sitting on corks waiting for more work.  My miniature sensi is none other than DA's own :iconstripwalker: who published his tutorial at Matakishi's Teahouse [link] Basically I'm just following along with his lessons posted there.  Now if I'd had more time for my trip from AK to NE I'd have stopped by his hometown in Canada and bought him a beer and picked his brain some more for some sculpting and casting tips...  But alas, such wasn't possible with the time and distance.

As is obvious, my family has settled down into a nice little rental house here in Omaha and I've got a work bench made from two saw horses and a pice of 3/4" MDF board that is about 3' by 5' wide next to my computer.  Obviously I use the workbench form my sculpting and execute my digital art right next door.  Not too bad of a setup!

Not sure where these figures are going, but I know some will become little epoxie spacemen...  After all I'm just starting out and not expecting much from myself at this point.  Anyway, make sure to check out Makakishi's Teahouse as its full of great gaming material, especially Jason Miller's tutorial...

hey thanks for the comment.to answer your question ya it did stand by its self but i simply did not trust it enough to continue with the project and waste my paint.to be onest everthing was going well untill i put the sword on his hand it put to much presure on a certain point on his stomach and the clay began to chip so again i just scraped it.now that you mention it i cant remember the name of the type of wire i used but it was a heavy duty wire that is used for a number of things one is the spokes on motor bike wheels.hope that answers your questions.again thanks
