Munchkin Comic that Never Was

This was for a Steve Jackson Games contest... Sadly I found out only a few days (or was it hours...) before the deadline. Needless to say, I lost the plot, and never finished the comic. However, I still had some nicely rendered comic strips I wanted to show off, so here they are, complete with NPB pencil in just about raw form.

This is based on many games that my wife and I would play with some close friends of ours when they lived here in Alaska with us. Somehow my buddy and I would beat each other up and both go from the brink of winning to crushing defeat due to our Munchkinism... All the while our wives would be splitting focus between cooking food, changing diapers, dealing with screaming babies and fighting toddlers, and chatting back and forth. Every time (just about) one of them would win...

Obviously, the game Munchkin is copyright Steve Jackson Games, with artwork by John Kovalic...

...Just be careful if you play it. You might find yourself stabbing your buddy in the back and taking they're stuff!
